1904-1906 practical medical in village mela, Kiev Province, then served in a field hospital in Manchuria during the Russo-Japanese War. 1906-1909 intern, Surgical Department, Yclizavetgrad City former local government authority Hospital, where he specialized under the surgeon O. A. Yutsevich. 1909 opened private surgical practice in village Petrovo, Kherson Province, then worked as a surgeon at Aleksandriya Uyezd Hospital.
From 1912 surgeon and chief physician, Sumy Uyezd former local government authority Hospital. During World War 1 director of a large Red Cross surgical hospital in Sumy and chairman, Refugee Committee. 1919-1953 chief physician and head, Surgical Department, Kholodnogorskiy Hospital, Khar’kov.
1935-1966 head, Chair of Surgery, Ukraine Institute of Postgraduate Medical Training. Member, Permanent Rural Health Committee and secretary, Learned Council, Ukraine People's Commissariat of Health. During World War 2 continued medical work in Khar’kov during German occupation.
Attended numerous Russian and first ten Ukraine Surgical Congresses. Honorary member, Ukraine Surgical Social. Also active member, Kharkov Medical Social and Khar’kov Surgical Social.
Member, Khar’kov Oblast Bureau, Medical and Sanitary Workers’ Trade Union. Deputy, Khar’kov district and City Soviet. Wrote over 90 works.
