1918 joined Red Army. 1918—1919 military commander, Neva Rayon, Petrograd. Commanded special detachment guarding River Neva.
From spring 1919 commander, 3rd Brigade, 19th Infantry Division at front near Narva. 13 May 1919 captured by Whitist forces. Refused to switch allegiance and serve Whites.
Sentenced to death.
