March 1918 joined Savinkov’s League for the Protection of the Country and Freedom and headed its Cemr Staff. Directed Local League branches in Yaroslavl’, Rybinsk, Murom, Kaluga, et cetera Planned anti-Soviet revolt in Yaroslavl’.
6—21 July 1918 held Yaroslavl’. After defeat of revolt, fled to Kazan’ where he helped Czechoslovakian Legion defend city from Red Army. September 1918 - March 1920 continued struggle against Soviet regime with People's Army of Constituent Assembly Committee and with General Kolchak’s Army.
Commanded separate Kazan’ brigade. Commanded various partisan detachments operating behind Red Army lines in Siberia. 1921 infiltrated Ural Military district Staff and tried to foment anti-Soviet rebellion in Urals.
1922 arrested by State Security organs. July 1922 sentenced to death in Yaroslavl' by Assizes of Supreme Tribunal’s Military Collegium.
