Career
He works as an assistant coach with Football Club Tom Tomsk. In the first round of the 1992-1993 Union of European Football Associations Cup, he saved two penalty kicks in the penalty shootout that helped his team Football Club Torpedo Moscow beat Manchester United F.C. (United also missed the goal on one of the kicks). Podshivalov played his only game for Russia on 6 October 1993 in a friendly against Saudi Arabia.
