Aleksandr Rodimtsev, USSR Col.-general.


Rodimtsev, Aleksandr was born in 1905.


Graduated from the Frunze Military Academy, 1939.


Joined the Red Army, 1927, and the Bolshevik Party, 1929. Sent to Spain during the Spanish Civil War, 1936-1939. Several high command posts during World War II. Became widely known during the Battle of Stalingrad.

After World War II, military adviser and attache in communist Albania. Several command posts in the Soviet forces, 1956-1966.


Religion is a cause of numerous conflicts and bloody wars throughout the history of mankind.


The emphasis on peaceful coexistence doesn’t mean that the Soviet Union accepted a static world with clear lines. Socialism is inevitable and the "correlations of forces" were moving towards socialism.
