Corresponding member, USSR Academy of Science, since 1953; Professor, Moscow University, since 1952; Head,Department of Geochemistry, Institute of Geology Science, USSR Academy of Science, since 1949. three orders; medals; two Stalin Prizes, 1947, 1952. Member, Communist Party, since 1945.
Education
1929 graduate Leningrad Polytech Institute.
Career
Did research on geochemistry of rare metals, particularly mercury. Devised method of determining small quantities of mercury in various rocks and minerals.
Religion

Politics
Member, Communist Party, since 1945.
