After establishment of Soviet rule in Khar’kov engaged in Party and government work. Chairman, Kremcnchug Province Executive Committee. From 1922 chairman, Poltava Province Executive Committee.
Deputy chairman, Ukraine Council of People's Commissar. Union of the Soviet Socialist Republics trade representative in Austria. Delegation at 15th and 16lh All-Union Communist Party (Bolsheviks) Congresses.
At 9th and 10th Congresses of Communist Party (Bolsheviks) Ukraine elected member, Central Committee, Communist Party (Bolsheviks) Ukraine. 1930-1933 candidate Political Bureau member, Central Committee, Communist Party (Bolsheviks) Ukraine. Member, All-Ukraine Central Executive Committee of several convocations.
Arrested by State Security organs.
