Deputy Chairman, Medicine Section, Leningrad Society for the Dissemination of Political and Science Knowledge. Since 1960 Chairman, Commission on Cancer Problems, USSR Academy of Medical Science.

Member, Editorial Board, journals: “Voprosy onkologii” (Problems of Oncology), “Novosti meditsiny” (Medical News), “Sovrcmennye problemy onkologii” (Current Problems of Oncology). Co-Editor, “Obstetrics” and “Gynecology” sections, “Bolshaya meditsinskaya entsiklopediya” (Large Medical Encyclopedia). 1955 attended Internal.

Conference on the Study of the Mechanism of Carcinogensis, Amsterdam. 1959 attended Moscow joint session of USSR Learned Council and Polish Oncological Institute. 1919-1923 Red Army doctor.
