Career
From 1922, with the Zimin Private Opera. Pupil of A. Messerer at the evening courses of the Moscow Choreographic School,
1923. With the Moscow Theatre of Operetta, 1927-1929.
With theatres in Sverdlovsk, 1929-1932, and Perm’,
1932-1937. Choreographer at the Tashkent Opera and Ballet Theatre,
1937-1941. With the Navoi Theatre, 1939.
With the Moscow Stanislavskii and Nemirovich-Danchenko Theatre, 1941-1948, and the Bolshoi Theatre, 1948-1951. Leading dancer. Artistic ballet director with the Bob oi Theatre, 1957-1959, and the Leningrad Malyi and Stanislavskii and Nemirovich-Danchenko Theatre, 1959-1964. Choreographer with various ballet theatres all over the USSR.
