1920-1927 instructor, Tashkent Central Asian University. Since 1930 Professor, Central Asian Polytechn. Institute; studies distribution and paragenesis of sulfur and petroleum.
Did research on the geochemistry of natural waters with special regard to analysing the role of isotopes in the geochemistry of waters. Developed several instruments for determining certain physical properties of minerals.
