1955 criticized by Party for “extravagance” in design and construction and dismissed as Chief Architect of Moscow. Submitted design for rapid reconstruction and organization of public services and amenities in Luzhniki Rayon and a complex of sport structures in Moscow Lenin Central Stadium. 1956 Presidium member, USSR Union of Soviet Architects.
