VOLZHENSKY, Aleksandr was born in 1899.
1925 graduated Tomsk Technology Institute.
Specialist in technology and properties of binding materials, concretes and concrete products. Developed basic principles of: theory of hydrothermal processing of building materials in autoclaves. Problem of replacing lime and cement by metallurgical slags and ashes from burned fuels in the production of autoclave materials.
Theory and technology of plaster and plaster-and-cement materials, etc. 1929-1932 instructor, Tomsk Technology Institute. 1935-1941 at Academy, of Public Utilities.
1943-1953 at Institute of Civil Engineering, USSR Academy of Architecture.
