Aleksandr VOROBEV, USSR Physicist. Doctor of Technology Science since 1939; Head, Chair of High-Voltage Engineering, Tomsk Polytechn. Institute, since 1939; Director, Tomsk Polytechn. 1935-1939 Candidate of Technology Science. 1936 at Siberian Physicotechn. Institute organized High-Voltage Laboratory for research on electrical insulation under low temperature conditions.

1940-1944 Dean, Power Engineering Faculty, Tomsk Polytechn. Institute; Deputy, Russian Soviet Federated Socialist Republic Supreme Soviet of 1959 convocation.
