Taube, Aleksandr Aleksandrovich, Baron was born in 1864. Son of Baron A. Taube.

Career

Graduated from the Academy of the GeneralStaff, 1891. On active service during WW1. Joined the Red Army, 1918.

Took part in the Civil War as Chiefof-staff of the Red Army in Siberia. Taken prisoner by the Whites in Bodaibo, and sentenced to death.

Views

The emphasis on peaceful coexistence doesn’t mean that the Soviet Union accepted a static world with clear lines. Socialism is inevitable and the "correlations of forces" were moving towards socialism.
