Attended art class at school №16 (1964-1967, teachers V.P. Krivoruchko, M.I. Likhachev, from 1967 to 1968 Y.P. Sanin was her teacher). In 1976 Aleksandra Alekseevna Pugacheva graduated from the faculty of wire communications of the All-Union Electrotechnical Institute of the USSR Communications.
In 1970-1989 Aleksandra Alekseevna worked as a draftsman, technician, engineer in Giproavtotrans, Giproprom, Giprokomundortrans, Voronezhkolkhozproekt. Participant of urban thematic exhibitions since 1990 .
Winner of the contest "Event of the season" (Voronezh, 1994-1995) for the award-winning series of miniature plastics "Inspiration". Author of many cycles of embossed ceramic compositions on various themes: "Orphanhood" (1990), "Old Town" (1995), "Autumn of the Patriarch" (2000), "The Last Hours of Christ’s Stay on Earth" (2004) and others. A number of Pugacheva's short stories ("Night Guest", "In the Dunes" and others) were published in the collection "Young Prose of the Black Soil Region" (Voronezh, 1991) and the local press.
