On 12 March 2011, Alekseyev made the debut for JK Sillamäe Kalev, coming on as a second-half substitute and scoring four times against newly promoted Football Club Ajax Lasnamäest Daugava Riga
Before the start of the 2012 Latvian Higher League season Alekseyev joined Daugava Riga.
