From 1901 studied at Sorbonne. 1913 graduate medical faculty.
Career
From 1907 research work under M. Caullery. 1914-1921 bacteriologist in Feodosiya. 1921 moved to Leningrad, then Tashkent.
Professor and director,Clinic of Protozoal Diseases, Centr Asian University, Tashkent. 1928-1934 director or consultant at tropical stations in Tbilisi, Yerevan and Batumi. 1946-1950 head, clinic of an ape and monkey breeding station in Sukhumi.
Studied cytology, development and taxonomy of various pathogenic and freemotile protozoa. Made valuable study of cytology of FTagellata and life cycle of Sarcosporidia and blastocysts. Also studies amebiasis, leishmaniosis and malaria.
Did research on hematology.
