Career
His International Master title was confirmed in 2010 after placing fifth with 5/9 at the FINEC General Motors tournament in January 2009, shared second with 9.5/13 at the Street St. Petersburg Championship three weeks later (this norm also counting as a first General Motors norm) and scoring 5/9 at the Chigorin Memorial that November. His two other General Motors norms came via shared first with 7/9 at a General Motors tournament held in Moscow in 2009 and scoring 6.5/11 at the European Individual Championships in 2013.
