1924 graduate Medical Faculty, Saratov University.
Career
1919-1920 medical orderly in Red Army. 1920-1922 male nurse 1924-1934 worked as a physician in the village and towns of Ural Oblast.
1926 began research on radio therapy and roentgenology. 1935-1941 lecturer in roentgenology, Bashkir Medical Institute, Ufa. During World War 2 head, roentgenological department, various military hospitals.
1944-1949 deputy sci director, Kiev Roentgenological, Radiological and Oncological Institute. 1944-1967 head Chair of Roentgenology and Radiology, Kiev Institute of Postgraduate Medical Training. 1945-1950 chief roentgenologist, Ukraine Minister of Health.
From 1945 also chairman. Radiological Commission, Ukraine Minister of Health and bd chairman, Kiev Social of Roentgenologists and Radiologists. 1953-1967 head Roentgenological and Radiological Department, Kiev Institute of Experimental Biology' and Pathology and head, Biophysics Laboratory, A. A. Bogomolets Institute of Physiology, Ukraine Academy of Sciences.
From 1956 bd chairman, Ukraine Social of Roentgenologists and Radiologists. Member, ed council, journal Vestnik rentgenologii i radiologii. Devised several new therapeutic techniques, including x-ray therapy of gunshot wounds, massive single-dose irradiation and complex treatment for breast cancer.
Complex treatment for radiation damage and radioactive phosphorus treatment for tumors. Wrote over 60 works.
