1926-1928 instructor, factory school at Tver Railroad Car Plant. 1928-1932 at operatic studio of Leningrad Conservatory and taught physics and mathematics in several Leningrad school and technicums. 1932-1936 soloist, Leningrad Maly Opera Theater.
1936-1938 at theaters in Saratov and Gorky. Chairman and Presidium member, Russian Soviet Federated Socialist Republic Commission for Certification of Singing Teachers. Sang following parts: Volkonsky in Prokofiev’s “Voyna i mir” (War and Peace).
Ryleev in Yu. Shaporin’s “Dekabristy" (The Decembrists). Title role in A. G. Rubinstein’s “Demon”. Mazepa and the Devil in Tchaikovsky’s “Mazepa and Chercvichki” (The Little Shoes).
Petr in A. N. Serov’s “Vrazhya sila” (Satanic Forces). Title role in Verdi’s “Rigoletto”. Gryaznoy in Rimsky-Korsakov’s “Tsarskaya nevesta” (The Bride of the Tsar).
Shaklovity in Mussorgsky’s “Khovanshchina;” title tolc in Borodin’s “Knyaz Igor” (Prince Igor). Ruslan in Glinka’s “Ruslan i Lyudmila” (Ruslan and Ludmilla) etc.
