Specialized in pedag theory and methods of teaching physics in secondary schools and polytechnicums. Wrote numerous works on the pedag process, the public educational and workers’ polytechnic systems, the practical training of students, et cetera 1927-1929 ed, “Pedagogicheskaya entsiklopediya” (3 volume).
Did research on the design and utilization of visual aids for physics teaching and trade training. Also did considerable work on theoretical physics and geophysics.
