1919-1922 war correspondent attached to political bd, Turkcstani Front. Helped to put down uprising in Vernyy (Alma-Ata). Editor secretary, journal Put' MOPRa and roving correspondent for Izvestia: 1928-1956 Pravda special correspondent.
