DUDAR, Ales’ was born on December 24, 1904 in village Novoselki (now Gomel’ Oblast). Son of a peasant.

1921 graduate Minsk secondary school. Studied at Literature and Linguistic Department Teachers’ Training Faculty, Belorussian State University.
1923 helped organize Maladnyak lit soc of proletarian writers. 1927 helped found Polymya lit society 1921 first work published.
Although a poet of "revol-romantic” school, he committed ’’ideological errors” especially in 1927-1928 during the so-called "theater controversy”. 1928 arrested and exiled until 1933 to Smolensk. 1933 returned to Minsk.
3 November 1936 re-arrested and sent to a concentration camp.
Member, Belorussian Writers’ Union from 1934.
