1908 graduate elementary school.
Career
From 1909 worked as farmhand. Later at Petersburgg ’’Vulkan” Plant. From 1909 Russian Social-Democratic Workers’ Party member.
From 1913 served with the Baltic Fleet. 1917 joined Bolsheviks and participated in the storming of the Winter Palace in Petrograd during the Bolshevik Revol. During the Civil War served with the Red Volga Flotilla.
From 1921 on cd staff, Minsk newspaper Sovetskaya Belarus’: in the 1930's worked for Institute of Linguistics, Belorussian Academy of Sciences. 1909 first work published in Belorussian newspaper Nasha niva.
