Career
In 2011 she was signed to Justin Time Records for whom she recorded the album "33". Having inherited Cystic Fibrosis, she had a successful double lung transplant in November 2008 which reinvigorated her career and gave rise to her advocacy work for the cause of organ and tissue donation awareness in Canada. In the summer of 2013 while experiencing rejection, Pangman opened for Willie Nelson at Toronto"s Massey Hall shortly before receiving her second double lung transplant in August of 2013.
By March of 2014 she was recording music again.
They make their home in Toronto Ontario and are both active equestrians. She has led her Toronto band "Alex Pangman And Her Alleycats" since 1998.
