He attended a Quaker school but did not do well and left with little in the way of qualifications.
In 2008 Quinn designed and made a large Banana which was commissioned by The Big Issue. His main theme is animals and nature.
Quinn attended and graduated from Goldsmiths College, London, in 1990 He was awarded the The Princes Trust Award in 1992 to support his art practice and received the British Council Award in 2008 and in 2004 was shortlisted for the Jerwood Drawing Prize. Established and accomplished as a sculptor / artist in his own right he now only works on commissions.
