On February 2, 2009, he reached his highest Association of Tennis Professionals singles ranking of 259 whilst his highest doubles ranking was 80 achieved on 13 October 2014. He won his first Association of Tennis Professionals World Tour title with partner Gero Kretschmer as alternates in Quito on 7 February 2015.
