Career
After the disbanding of Green River in 1987, he returned to college, eventually ending up in Japan working and studying international studies at Sophia University (上智大学) in Tokyo. He later moved back to the United States in 1995 to work in politics and labor union related organizations. His latest music endeavor is with Ex"s With Benefits, which was born from failed endeavor of making a new Green River recording.
From the unused music Alex connected with old highschool friend Dmitra Smith to put some vocals on his music
Soon after the two started working on a constant basis. Also in the band are Dmitra"s husband Pascal Favre on guitar and Dave Place on bass.
In 2008, Green River reunited for the 20-year anniversary of the Sub People’s record label and have played several live shows since. In October 2010, Vincent was an actor for a semi-documentary film titled Big In Japan, directed by John Jeffcoat premiering in March of 2014 at the South By Southwest Music and Film Festival.
