At the age of five years old he successfully passed the exams to the Republican school of the State Conservatory in Minsk. However, for family reasons, Alexander stayed in his native city of Grodno. At the age of nine, he entered the city's music school where he learnt how to play the bayan. When he was 14, he enrolled in Grodno School of Music, continuing education on the same instrument.
At the age of sixteen, he bought his first drum set. He began to perform with his first band at various concerts and weddings, like many beginning musicians do. At seventeen he was invited to become a singer in a famous group "Truth." The musicians in the group were older than him, so working together with them in live concerts, and participating in various rock festivals and musical competitions in which their group was repeatedly victoriouswas a good experience for Alexander.
At the age of 18, of Alexander started his service in the Soviet army in the city of Minsk - in the military band "Scarlet epaulets". While in the Army, he first started to read the Bible. This greatly affected his inner world and his approach towards life. Over two years of service he participated in 200 concerts. In 1991 he went into the reserve with the rank of junior sergeant.
In 1991 Alexander married Tatiana Galinovsky, which by then had been his girlfriend for a year. In 1992 their daughter Anastasia was born.
