Career
Arnold was born in Rhinebeck, New York in 1833. He moved to Wisconsin in 1857, settling in Galesville, Wisconsin. During the American Civil War, he served with the 30th Wisconsin Volunteer Infantry Regiment of the Union Army.
Arnold died in 1915.
Prior to that, he had been a Democrat.
