Mr. Bauer carried on an architectural practice in that city for a number of years. He was associated in partnership with the late Gustave Dick (Dick & Bauer, Inc.), and after Mr. Dick's death in 1935, carried on his work alone. His practice was of a general nature, comprising theatre buildings, churches and schools; also he served as Associate Architect with Alexander C. Eschweiler, Sr., on the Frederic J. Gaensl'er School for Crippled Children at Milwaukee.
