He studied at the Institute of the National Economy of Kuibyshev at the faculty of Economics of trade. From 1978-1981, he studied at the graduate school of the Belarusian State University on a speciality "Economic theory". From 1999-2000. (6 months) internship programme of the British Government Know-How Fund REAP project to develop Management Education within MSLU0.
From 1982-1987, was a senior economist, researcher of the Belarusian Scientific-Research Institute in the Department of Scientific and Technical Information. From 1987-2000, was the assistant Professor of the Department of Economics of the Minsk State Linguistic University. From 2000 till nowadays he holds the position of assistant Professor at the Department of economic theory of the Belarusian State University.
