Career
Since 1973 Alexander Tikhanovich has been a member of the pop group "Verasy". He played the bass guitar and trumpet. During that period he met Jadwiga Poplavskaya who later became his wife.
In 1986 they both were forced to leave "Verasy" and in 1987 they continued the way in newly organized State Orchestra of Belarus conducted by Mikhail Finberg.
In 1988 Alexander and Jadwiga organized the Theatre of Songs. This organization saw a lot of young Belarusian perfomers.
Alexander Tikhonovich is also the author and presenter of several musical TV projects. One of them is a TV competition "Hit-moment". From 2006 to 2009 Alexander headed national TV music project Eurofest.
