Quotes from others about the person
His friend Yuri said: "He drew spiritual strength from poetry, adored M. Tsvetaeva and V. Fedorov, idolized A. Pushkin, his idol in music was F. Chopin. His frantic desire was to speak the language of naked feeling in art and in life. This open romantic feeling he carried through all the years. Throughout his life, he carried a love of folk art, national roots revered as saints. Without these roots, Alexander Timoshenko as a creative person simply could not be."
