Background
Alexander was born in 1870, Arkhangelskoye village of Zemlyansk district, Russian Federation and died 06.03.1930, near the city of Voronezh. He came from the clergy. He was unreasonably repressed (1930), shot. Alexander was canonized by the Russian Orthodox Church (2000) as a priestly martyr.
Education
He graduated from the Voronezh Theological Seminary (1893).
Career
He was the teacher of singing at the Vvedensky parochial school of the city of Voronezh (1893-1894). Deacon in the women's Mother of God-Tikhonovsky Tyuninsky Monastery of the Zadonsky district (1894-1897).The priest of the Alexander Church in Rogozhino village of Zadonsky district (1897-1917). After 1917, he served in the temples of various villages of Nizhnedevitsky district, from the late 1920s - in the village of the Semidesiatnoje of Novodevitsky district.
