Background

He is a Filipino businessman and philanthropist based in Makati City, Philippines. He currently serves as the Executive Director of the Wong Chu King Foundation (WCKF). He is the fifth child of late businessman Wong Chu King.

Education

Alex Wongchuking completed his primary education at Xavier School in Greenhills, San Juan. He completed his studies in Colegio de San Juan de Letran.

Career

He began his career doing various jobs for other companies before serving as a board member of their 73-year-old family-owned cigarette business. Currently, Wongchuking is semi-retired and is actively involved in its foundation built in their father's memory. The WCKF is involved in educational and apostolic charities as the foundation actively seeks to provide scholarships to deserving young men and women, especially to dependents and beneficiaries of Filipino tobacco farmers.
