Alexander Alexeevich graduated from the 3rd Moscow Cadet Corps (1893), studied at the Moscow Technical School (now Moscow Technological Institute) (since 1897).
Alexander Alexeevich taught Russian language and literature at the University of Waseda (Japan). For his participation in the revolutionary movement in April 1899, he was deported to Voronezh to be under special police supervision. Later he was exiled to the Vologda province. During the First World War he served in Khabarovsk, from where he was sent to Japan due to illness (1918).
