From 1951 to 1958 Alexander Georgievich studied at the Leningrad higher art-industrial school named after V.I. Mukhina (now the Saint Petersburg Stieglitz State Academy of Art and Design) at the department of architectural and decorative sculpture under professor V.I. Ingal
Alexander Georgievich devoted his life to art. He started his career in Perm (1958-1962). Then, from 1962 to 1971 he worked in the Leningrad (now Saint Petersburg) branch of the Union of Artists. In 1964 Alexander Georgievich was invited to work as a teacher at the department of drawing in the Leningrad Higher art-industrial School named after V. I. Mukhina (now the Saint Petersburg Stieglitz State Academy of Art and Design, of Architectural and Decorative Sculpture). After many years he decided to move to Sochi (in 1971).
