Alexander Ivanovich was the owner of a photographic studio in Voronezh from 1894 to 1904. He took pictures of archaeological findings and museum objects. In 1895, Alexander Ivanovich presented his album "The Anniversary Collection of the Voronezh Mikhailovsky Cadet Corps" with the views of Voronezh and Voronezh Mikhailovsky Cadet Corps to General N.A. Mahotin who arrived to the 50th anniversary of Voronezh Mikhailovsky Cadet Corps. At the invitation of Princess Olga Alexandrovna of Oldenburg, he captured the visit of Grand Duke Mikhail Alexandrovich to village Ramon in Voronezh Oblast in October 1903. He donated his photographs’ negatives to the Oblast museum for the album of local attractions in 1904.
