• 1980 – received his first national award for his (Gobelin) tapestry “Leninism” and “Soviet Union – periods of a
  
  big path”
  
  1991 – became a national artist of Belarus
  
  1996 – second national award for his “Gobelin of century”, after his death this work was recorded in Guinness World Records
  
  Many of his works today can be found in Belorussian and Russian Galleries of Art, e.g The State Tretiakov Gallery, in private collections of Bill Clinton and François Mitterrand. His Gobelin “Chernobyl” can be found in U.N.O. headquarters, New York
