Alexandr Ivanovich Penkin was officer on a warship (1956-1960), technician of the special design Bureau at the Voronezh radio plant (1962-1966), designer of the design Bureau "pole" (1966-1994). In 1978, he became interested in the work of Alexander Pushkin, took an active part in the literary club "Meeting with Pushkin" (1996-2006).
The author of more than 100 drawings made in watercolor and grizail technique and depicting the poet at various moments of his life.
Achievements

Penkin's works were exhibited in various cultural, educational and educational institutions of the city of Voronezh and the Voronezh region. Many of his works Penkin presented to libraries and educational institutions of Voronezh. Posthumously awarded with a diploma of the Russian Foundation for culture (June 2007).
