Since 1882 she worked in Ukrainian troupes of M.L. Kropivnitsky, M.P. Staritsky, P.K. Saksagansky and others. In 1884 she was in the troup of the theatre named by M. Staritsky, toured in Voronezh, played predominantly the roles of the Ukrainian dramatists’ plays. Virina's best roles of different periods: Terpiliha ("Natalka Poltavka" by Ivan Kotlyarevsky), Tatyana ("Suyeta" by Ivan Karpenko-Kary), Nastya ("Yurko Dovbish" by Mykhailo Starytsky) and others.
