Career
Born in Moscow in 1935, Kozlov was captured by the Germans, but even after two years of detention, he did not reveal any secrets. He lost 32 kilograms (71 lb) during this period. In 1982, the German intelligence services traded him in a famous spy swaps exchange.
Kozlov was traded for 10 German spies and a general of the South African army.
He died on 2 November 2015.
