Achievements include predicted the existence of telomerase, telomere shortening and the DNA end underreplication effect. Predicted the existence of novel physiological system, namely the so called lunasensor system, which is involved in regulation of long termed biological rhythms. Formulated the chronomere theory of aging and the ion fountain theory of genome regulation.
Formulated the notion of paragenome.
