In 1960, Alexey Vasilyevich graduated from Rossoshansk Medical School. In 1969, he graduated from the medical faculty of the Voronezh State Medical Institute.
In 1960, Alexey Vasilyevich began to work as a paramedic in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Region (1960-1963). First, in 1973-1974 he was a physician of the Voronezh City Clinical Hospital № 17, and the, in 1974-1977, was the head doctor of this hospital. In 1977-1987, Alexey Vasilyevich continued to work as the head doctor of the Voronezh City Clinical Hospital № 2.
