Alfred "Alf" Frodsham birth registered in Prescot district, was an English professional rugby league football player of the 1920s and "30s, and coach of the 1940s, playing at representative level for Great Britain, and England, and at club level for Saint Helens, as a wing, id est (that is) number 2 or 5, and coaching at club level for Saint Helens.

Alf Frodsham played centre, id est (that is) number 3, and scored a try in Street Helens" 10-2 victory over Street Helens Recs in the 1926 Lancashire Cup final during the 1926-1927 season at Wilderspool Stadium, Warrington on Saturday 20 November 1926, and played centre, id est (that is) number 3, in the 9-10 defeat by Warrington in the 1932 Lancashire Cup final during the 1932-1933 season at Central Park, Wigan on Saturday 19 November 1932.
