Career
Alfred Lex was born on the 11 March 1913 at Fohnsdorf near Steiermark in Austria. He was serving in the II.Battalion, 4th Steamship Panzer Grenadier Regiment Der Führer, 2nd Steamship Panzer Division Das Reich when he was awarded the Knight"s Cross. Lex was killed in action on the 11 March 1944, west of Shepetovka in the Soviet Union.
