Paintings: portraits in oil and water-colour, and military subjects; Reliefs of Mafeking, Kimberley, and Ladysmith reproduced by photogravure; portrait, miniature of H.M. Queen Mary, in possession of the King; opening ceremony of 1st C.B. Royal Fusiliers, by permission of H.M. King George, hung in their headquarters; and eight pictures for the Life of King George V. Honourable Secretary of West London Sketching Club, 1878-1882. 25 prizes for drawing and painting, including 1st prize medal for figure subjects in black and white at the International Exhibition, 1884. Studied wood-engraving, 1872-1875.
Contributed drawings to Boy’s Own Paper. Illus. London News, Graphic, Punch, etc. Special artist for Pictorial World, 1879-1886.
Political cartoons for Judy, etc. On staff of leading magazines, etc., besides designing posters and illustrating books for publishers. Special artist for The Sphere on Royal Colonial Tour, etc., 1901-1903.
