Severely wounded at Driefontein.
Present at all engagements under Colonel de Lisle, including Bothaville. Was with Colonel Rimington’s column. Decorated lor general services, and especially Bothaville. Companion of the Distinguished Service Order 1901, New South Wales Mounted Rifles.
