Career

Admitted to Ohio bar, 1897, and practiced at Cleveland until 1899. Claim agent Erie Railroad Company, 1899-1900. Manager Walker-Gordon Laboratory, 1900-1901.

Assistant secretary Western Reserve Trust Company, 1901-1903. Assistant secretary Cleveland Trust Company, 1903-1907, secretary, later vice president, 1907-1913, vice president, since 1923. Treasurer, later vice president Equitable Life Assurance Society of the United States, New York City, 1913-1922.

Vice president Warner & Swasey Company Trustee Oberlin College.
